Published on 21 November 2024 At the National Powerlifting Championship held on November 16-17, 2024, in the weightlifting hall of the National Sports Academy, the athletes from the NSA Powerlifting Club delivered an excellent performance, securing four first places in the junior category, championship titles in the men’s and veterans’ categories, one silver, and two bronze medals in the youth and girls’ categories. During the championship, opportunities for education in the upcoming 2025/2026 academic year were presented to the participants in the junior and youth categories. Assist. Todor Vasilev and Prof. Valentin Panayotov from the Department of “Weightlifting, Boxing, Fencing, and Sports for All” provided detailed explanations to prospective applicants about the Academy's education programs, options for a second specialization, and career prospects after successful graduation. The event was excellently organized and conducted by the Bulgarian Powerlifting Federation. Medals won by the NSA Powerlifting Club athletes: - Girls under 18 – 1 silver, 1 bronze
