On November 11, 2024, the academic year for students of the master's programs at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" was officially opened in the full-time form of study.

The rector, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, greeted the audience with wishes for success: "The education in the master's programs at NAA will help you gain additional knowledge that will be an asset in your future development and professional realization. It will give you the preparation and confidence to become successful specialists."

Assoc. Prof. Ina Vladova, head of the "Master's Programs" Center at the Academy, also addressed the students.

The event was attended by Vice-Rectors Assoc. Prof. Hristo Andonov, Prof. Ognyan Miladinov, Prof. Daniela Lyubenova, the deans of the three faculties at NAA, heads of the master's programs, and professors.

Nearly 400 students will be enrolled in the master's programs at the Academy. Among them, as tradition dictates, are successful Bulgarian athletes. Yoana Ilieva, who achieved historic success for Bulgarian fencing, chose the master's program "Sport for High Achievements." This program was also chosen by Alexander Vezenkov – Bulgaria's top athlete of the year, currently playing for the Greek basketball giant "Olympiacos." Volleyball players Viktor Yosifov and Andrey Zhekov are also beginning their master's studies.
