The Rector of NSA Visits the Sofia Theological Seminary
Published on 05 February 2025  The Rector of the National Sports Academy, Prof. Krasimir Petkov, visited the Sofia Theological Seminary at the invitation of his colleague, Bishop Meletiy of Znepol. During their working meeting, the two rectors exchanged ideas on developing joint cooperation in the fields of education, physical education, and promoting the values of sports among young people. Prof. Krasimir Petkov emphasized the importance of faith on the path to success and achievement: “Without trust, direction, and faith in oneself, a person would not be able to achieve their goals. This is especially true for athletes, who must first challenge and overcome themselves in order to defeat their opponent,” Prof. Petkov noted. At the suggestion of Bishop Meletiy, students from the Sofia Theological Seminary will visit the National Sports Academy to learn about its rich history, traditions, and achievements, as well as the diverse educational and sports opportunities offered by NSA. |
