Representatives of the Naval Academy Leadership Visit NSA
Published on 06 February 2025  On February 5, 2025, a meeting took place between representatives of the academic leadership of the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" and the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA). Admiral Kalin Kalinov, Rector of NVNA, and his Deputy for Academic and Research Affairs, Captain First Rank Miroslav Tsvetkov, became acquainted with the educational traditions and specializations taught at NSA. The experience of the Sports Academy in building and maintaining its own sports facilities, including NSA’s maritime base in Nessebar, was also presented. The guests learned from Rector Prof. Krasimir Petkov and Vice-Rector Prof. Nikolay Izov about the recent developments in constructing new educational and sports facilities at the Academy, as well as renovations of existing ones. The discussions also focused on opportunities for future collaboration between the two higher education institutions in the fields of sports, education, and research activities. |
