The National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" is a partner in the "FeSport" project under the ERASMUS-SPORT-2023 initiative. The project's coordinator is France’s National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (INSEP). As part of the project, NSA "Vasil Levski" will participate in organizing the European Sports Festival in Paris, which will take place during the Olympic Games, from July 31 to August 9.

The festival aims to showcase the cultural traditions of sports in Europe. The program includes an exhibition titled "Sport and Europe," a series of seminars, round tables, and discussions with project partners and sports figures. The festival will also feature a variety of sports activities presented by the project partners, with a focus on the traditions and culture of European countries. These sports activities will take place in one of the largest fan zones in the Paris region, located at the Château de Vincennes, on the outskirts of the city.

Bulgaria and representatives of NSA "Vasil Levski" will present traditional Bulgarian folk games, dances, and archery. The program will emphasize Bulgarian traditions and the culture that has been preserved through the centuries.

To achieve the project's goals, INSEP has united nine organizations to jointly organize the sports festival during the 2024 Olympic Games. The partners are:

  • Olympic Center Berlin (Germany)
  • Sport Ireland Institute (Ireland)
  • Alt Rendiment Barcelona (Spain)
  • Kuortane High-Performance Training Center (Finland)
  • Development Center of the Swedish Sports Confederation in Bosön (Sweden)
  • Centro de Alto Rendimento do Jamor (Portugal)
  • Institut de haute-performance sportive in Luxembourg (Luxembourg)
  • National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" (Bulgaria)
  • Olympic Center Vorarlberg (Austria)
