Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Rusimov, Ph.D.
Graduated in medicine in 1995 from MU Sofia. From 1994 to 1997, he volunteered in the emergency department, and in 1998, he began his specialization at the University Hospital "N.I. Pirogov". He was appointed as a physician in the First and Third Clinics of Orthopedic Traumatology at the same hospital. He obtained a specialty in "Orthopedics and Traumatology" in 2002 and a certificate in "Arthroscopy". From 2006-2007, he was the head of the "Arthroscopic Traumatology" department at the Third Clinic of Orthopedic Traumatology at the University Hospital "Pirogov". Between 1998-2007, parallel to his work as an orthopedic traumatologist, he was a lecturer up to the level of Senior Assistant in the Department of "Sports Medicine" at NSA "Vasil Levski".
In 2007, he joined the newly established "Arthroscopic Traumatology" clinic under the Department of Orthopedic Traumatology and Reconstructive Surgery at VMA, under the leadership of Associate Professor Antoni Georgiev. In 2012, he successfully defended his dissertation on "Arthroscopic Stabilization for Anterior Traumatic Shoulder Instability
